I am very much the same way, except I do know I'm boring, lol.

 

Lol yeah I mean I know im boring and uptight and it doesn't always bother me but sometimes it does and I get insecure about it.

Yeah I mean idk sometimes I'm resentful that I'm this way. Like such a control freak and always responsible. My friend makes it look so easy and it's not for me. My motto this weekend is "I'm breezy!" But I'm not at all and this trip has been like a giant highlight of that so far. Like I'm having fun but at the base of everything is so much insecurity and self hatred mehhhhh yay vacationing???

 

I totally get it. I wish I could be more outgoing and less awkward but I've more or less accepted I will never be and will always feel out of place everywhere.

You went out with your friends and are working on your mindset. That alone should be grounds for celebration--not like you can change immediately!

 

Thanks! I just always feel so... Weird. Like resentful I'm this way because my brain perceives it as a fault of mine, and then resentful because I think depression is some of the equation so I get irritated because I can't always work thru like brain chemicals. I'll have fun later tonight for sure (seeing my queen Xtina!!!!!!!!!) But I always feel like rly lame when I can't or struggle to do "normal" things ppl my age do
