My first one these arrived and I think it's pretty sweet

 

is blink being featured on the new Kid Trunks album? Or only Travis?

 

So I was driving home with my 4 year old in the back. I had NINE on but she usually does her own thing and doesn't pay attention to it. Darkside ended and I heard her say she wanted me to play that song again. So I played again and I hear her singing the chorus. Needless to say we rocked out to that song a few more times. Proud parent moment here!

 

this song is pretty much what I'm expecting from blink's collaborative EP

 

Boring tidbit about me: When I first heard Brand New's cover (years after it came out), I was like "hey this sounds familiar I really like this song" and then I looked up the original and I was like "Oh hey this sounds REALLY familiar I really like this song"....it wasn't until Angus was on TV randomly like 3-4 years ago when I finally realized why the song sounded so familiar haha

 

Last night I went to see Avril Lavigne and they played Pin the Grenade over the venue speakers which was rad.

 

Mark posted that "Marktober" list at the beginning of the month with something different each day, and it looks like he's following it. Just pointing it out cause the 14th is songs that were left off of Nine. Be cool if we get some other demos fingers crossed

 

In what way has he been following it between the 1st and today? I don't see any connection?

 

I guess since I finally started listening to this front to back the past week (I indeed murdered the singles too much before release) I can throw a ranking out there

Feels like there is so little separation between the top 9 haha. Not easy at all to try to rank these. I remember thinking I'd be happy if Happy Days ended up my least favorite and would've been satisfied if Darkside was my favorite cause I love that song. So they super surpassed expectations.

 

His Instagram stories. He posted a little drawing of the 6th thing today. So we may just get like a list of songs they left off Nine on the 14th. Maybe something more substantial

You know I've listened to an album a lot when as a song is fading out I start humming how the next song starts before it actually begins.

That's how my listening experience with Nine is now.

Its just a drawing competition type thing for fans isn't it? He's not actually doing the drawings nor is he hinting anything. Its a play on Inktober which gives artists a drawing prompt each day for the whole of October. He's running a "Mark" themed one for the community.

 

I realized that an hour ago lol. I forgot about the whole Inktober thing oh well haha
