Bad episode. Best part was the lady trying to change Aidy’s coat in the middle of the sketch.

 

Political stuff was a slog as always but the back half of the episode was decent

 

Dads was very bad.

I liked the Apple sketch. I’ve seen worse episodes

He was!! I remember because he had that awful bleached hair still

 

He's doing the Suicide Squad sequel, although most cast members have to leave the show when they get a movie that coincides with the season even though he didn't

 

I've said this for years, but it's amazing how I look forward to this show all week and then am just continuously let down week after week.

Honestly, I think the 'dad' skit was the only one I laughed at. The political sketches have gotten so bad over the years it's almost unwatchable. And that's 80% of the show nowadays. There's just nothing creative coming out of this show anymore.

 

holy crap that cold open made me shut off the show

 

I just can’t imagine a writers room where someone pitches “Trump calls Ray Donovan” and everyone is like “yes yes this is good”

 

I bet Jost pitched that joke

 

I really loved that Apples sketch.

 

I still haven't seen Fleabag but Phoebe looks a ton like Paget Brewster in that thumbnail

 

I watched an episode or 2 of fleabag... I gotta get back to it, I guess.... I had no idea she is the one hosting SNL and in that show (When I saw the promo, I was like ;Who is she?'

 

Fleabag hype has always been a little over the top imo but is definitely good and worth the watch, especially considering the length. better than anything this show has done in years lol

Excited to somehow still be surprised when Taylor inevitably pops up in a sketch

 

gonna miss tonight's episode cause there's a power outage in my neighborhood starting at midnight, sucks man

 

Ben Carson got a chuckle out of me
