I thought my fiance could handle The Mummy ride (she doesn't like rides) when we went this past January, and I honestly thought it wasn't that bad, but I was remembering incorrectly. She called off the wedding 5 or 6 times during the ride. It was wild.

Our wedding is a little more of a month away now though!

Snyder's remake isn't terrible as far as remakes go but always the original!

Currently showing my wife the original Friday the 13th since she's never seen it. Gonna try to watch some of the sequels too if she's up for it.

Speaking of The Mummy, am I the only one here who enjoys the hell out of director Stephen Sommers film before that in the form of Deep Rising?

  10. I've never seen either the original or the remake of DotD. Sounds like my next double feature.

Haven't watched the first Scream in FOREVER but my girlfriend and I watched it last night. She liked it and I thought it held up relatively okay compared to how I thought it was gonna go lol.

  12. Watched the original Dawn of the Dead on Halloween last year and I honestly can't imagine watching anything else on the day itself now. It was perfect.

to bring back the talk of sequels being better than the originals from the other day. I 100% think Ft13 part 2 is a better movie than the first.

Watched the original The Evil Dead last night, I'd never seen it, only 2, but I really liked it! Going to watch 2 again and then Army of Darkness soon, and then I can finally watch the show! haha. also watched the second episode of Eli Roth's History of Horror, part 1 of the slashers, solid.

Funny story about Army of Darkness: I was probably 12 or 13 and I traded in a bunch of games at Gamestop. With the money I received from the trade-ins, I bought a different game but I only had like $8 left. I looked through their used movies and randomly picked out Bruce Campbell vs. the Army of Darkness directors cut. I hadn't seen or heard of Evil dead and that ended up being one of my favorite movies (and trilogy) of all time. As a huge horror junkie, you can imagine the pleasant surprise when I found out there were two movies before it.

The Evil Dead series is GOAT. Everything involved is awesome, the movies, the musical, the tv shows, even the remake is great.

Has anyone in here checked out In The Tall Grass yet on Netflix? Debating watching it after work, wondering if it's worth the watch.
