Chapel are streaming a new song on AltNation and Carter tweeted something about playing shows again soon. So I'm assuming they'll announce something soon

No dates yet, a promoter in Chicago announced the show here early and then deleted the post, but he’s coming here on January 23rd.

 

I haven't been able to listen yet, gonna wait till they drop it on Spotify. I'm excited though, such a good band.

Couldn't agree with you more. Still hard to believe both Carter and Kourtney came from the rise-core scene.

 

Not the norm for here but Sturgill Simpson / Tyler Childers tour is incoming at some point next year according to Sturgill. Can’t wait.

 

The last time I saw Chris headline here was in a sandwich shop and there were less than 30 people, so I’m curious to see how this goes.

 

might be reading too much into this but wonder if The Scene will start introducing tiered pricing the way other genres have. with EDM, it's all general admission but they sell in tiers so you end up paying more if you buy later when the cheaper tier sells out

 

That's not too uncommon with festivals in "the scene". Riot Fest and The Fest immediately come to mind.

that's pretty solid if that's the set. I'm debating hitting up the Austin date to see them and HIL

It comes with a signed guitar though (The Taylor GS series ranges from $500-$750), and there is a $25 Meet & Greet package, so all things considered, you get what you pay for, if you want to pay for it.

 

I was able to get floor for the presale yesterday in MI. I went back today about an hour after the tickets officially went on sale and it was sold out. I keep going back to check because I don’t buy it but it consistently tells me nothing is available. Insane. I’m really happy I got a pair.

 

They’re still on rise which is why I think they get the back burner. Hopefully this song/record is going to change that! They got a billboard rollout for the video so I hope that’s a good sign. Thankfully AP is too busy sucking AWSTIN KNIGHT’S(see what I did there) dick to be bothered with a chapel rollout!

Did you get around to listening to the song? Thoughts?

 

I've listened to it a few times now and I love it. Definitely hoping for big things for them from this record. They just need to tour with the right bands and I think they could blow up.
