NXT won't have commercials until 30 minutes into the show. All commercials will be picture in picture

 

Man, they're really trying EVERYTHING

 

The most interesting thing is if NXT will see an audience drop or not. AEW will likely do a good number, but if NXT is still doing 1m, then who knows where AEW's viewers are coming from. Either way, tonight is going to be one of the best nights for pro wrestling in a long time. Everything is changing, except for Dan stinking

 

Looks like they're starting with Cole/Riddle also.

So yeah, they are trotting out a Takeover. Further confirming my belief that its THE show to watch tonight

 

Well if Prep says it's the show to watch, then it has to be the show to watch!

 

Well NXT hasn’t really steered wrong in the past so if they are planning a takeover style show, I’m sure it’s going to deliver. Of course AEW is going to be intriguing, but as someone who is only casually aware of what’s going on there they still have their work cut out for them

 

Simple solution: watch both. Enjoy wrestling lol

 

I’m assuming the main event for NXT is the women’s title so I’ll probably catch that.

Does TNT have a live streaming app like USA Network does?

 

The good news is neither show will be as bad as RAW...feel like NXT has to really over deliver just to get the thought of that RAW ending out of my mind

 

If you have a cable provider I’d assume you can watch through their streaming? I know the direct tv app streams both USA and TNT

 

I didn't have to worry about which Monday Night War show to watch as a kid because my family had a VCR. If only that type of technology existed today.

 

That was basically gonna be my next point. I know ratings matter to the networks but I don’t think it matters to the fans. Anyone who is going to watch either program is going to watch regardless of what order they watch it in. I don’t think anybody that has interest in both isn’t going to skip one because they watched the other first.

I assume they're saving it for Full Gear, but Im a little surprised AEW isnt running out any of the tag tournament in their inaugural show. Like that Lucha Bros v Jurassic Express match would be a pretty damn fun match to roll out as their kick off

Can't wait to watch both when I can. Ill be super busy at work so can't sneak watching these in because I want the shows to have my full attention. As much as I love NXT im rooting for AEW to well because its good for the business and they have lots of underrated talent. WWE has become so,stale that they need someone to push them and I'm hoping AEW is here to stay for that reason alone.
