Elston Turner and Dan Hartfield are our new main assistants in Houston. They any good? I know Turner long ago when he was here under Adelman but didn’t know he was still coaching.

 

Long term huh? Hope it's still guaranteed when Miami is underwater

 

Everyone in the organization seemed to think highly of Turner, a good players coach type of guy and defensive minded I think he’s a good hire.
Don’t know much about Hartfield but I think he’s got a scouting/analytics background

 

Cool, also Joerger was at our first practice today as well which I think is interesting.

Over the weekend I went to the Open House of the newly renovated/designed Cavs arena (Rocket Mortgage Field House) and it's really amazing. Hard to believe it's the same place.

They essentially did what the Indians did years ago...if you can't make the team attractive, make the stadium/arena attractive...bars and restaurants everywhere - all local too, which is cool.

I think the coolest renovation was they took out a few sections all the way in upper deck and made it one, huge standing room only bar that looks out over the court.

 

First preseason game tonight! Stoked to be back in the arena
