That sucks, although, I'm very happy with Quinneth Hugheston.

 

I'm not concerned. The talent's there (along with Joe Veleno), and some more time in the AHL won't hurt either's development. It also helps with the big club getting a golden ticket at the draft next year.

Don't quote me but I thought I read the contract/cap hit is just basically nixed

nah I don't think that would matter

it only matters for contracts that were signed when a player is 35 or older

at least I believe so
