How much does one tip a tattoo artist? Do I need to bring cash?

They only accept se*ual favours and you'll need to tap his right foot with your left foot two times and then wait a count of 5 and if he doesn't say anything then you have the okay to make the first move.

 

I’ve only ever paid for my tattoos in cash. And as for tip, it’s really up to you but I tend to tip heavy.

I try to do 20% if the tattoo cost is $500 or under, above that following the 20% rule isn't really necessary, always cash

 

I pay in cash. At least 20% tip but I usually go more because it's important to establish a good rapport with your artists, and they deserve it.
