Fucking lost it at the Dee reveal when they thought they heard a chicken

 

“He had me at gash, Charlie...he had me at gash.”

 

Wow what a first episode. Seems to have its urgency back. And holy shit do the jokes get weird and dark.

Lmaoo definitely figured that Teddy was either their dead kid or an old dog.

This was great.

 

I also feel like Glenn dyed his hair and it just reminded me of that scene where he's talking about superman being the original lol

 

Man, the whole cold open, Frank and Charlie coming into the bar and talking about their night with the girls, Dee getting cut off, Dennis with the boom box, I’m so excited for the rest of the season.

 

Lol we got an eye roll from Dennis in the first minute

 

Laughed at La Bamba but called the Teddy twist like as soon as they said his name haha

 

That was so good. Felt completely re-energized.

 

So those two women definitely overdosed, right?

 

Really really good. Total return to form after what was mostly their first mediocre season. This felt like Sunny again. Something was “off” most of last year.....

 

I figured out who Teddy was pretty much right away. Made Dennis going "Just dig Teddy back up, I don't give a shit" and Mac saying he's "dead and buried now, it's time to move on" so much funnier.

 

Feels so good to have a new episode that I love again, right off the bat. Already better than most of the last season

Mac saying "Take your hands off me" to Dee fucking killed me

 

this was a very run of the mill, predictable episode. Not bad, but nothing really had me laughing very hard.

 

Agreed. Frank and Charlie were my favorite part easily. Nothing really had me completely losing it, but it felt very classic Sunny so that’s fine.

 

Yeah, I agree it was very predictable and not their funniest, but it was still better than the majority of S13 and felt like classic Sunny. Overall I'm pleased with it.

Frank's "fuck this" got a loud laugh out of me

 

The unexpectedness of the fuck word being dropped on the show will never not make me laugh. lol

 

That was great and felt back to original Sunny for sure. Excited for the rest
