I kind of get why Mark doesn't wanna do deep cuts, at my show people got super restless during Enema except for the hits.

 

Maybe email him just before you leave with "Brad.Is.Outfortheday."?

 

Deep cuts are a hard sell when you're playing amphitheaters and arenas and getting people who go to shows on a whim to tailgate and stand on the lawn to sing All The Small Things. Not to mention it was a co-headliner with Lil Wayne which means even less people intimately familiar with your discography outside of singles.

His exact response could be said for multiple other songs that they do play live though (Reckless Abandon, Anthem Pt. II, Violence, Dumpweed, etc.). That's what's confusing to me. Just say you don't like the song or don't think there's enough demand for it live?

Just listened to these 4 songs and they're wayy better than I remember which, to be fair, I've never really gone back to Cali.

 

First Time gets me so amped up. I wanna jump around.

I wish they’d at least play Every Time I Look For You. It’s in American Pie 2.

 

It’s clear they will always cater to the LCD when it comes to creating a set list. Every now and then there may be a surprise, but to ever expect them to really change things up is going to be rare. This Enema tour is likely the last time in a long time their set will be vastly different from other tours.

 

this whole tangent made me revisit Rollercoaster and the synthwork in that song is so cool! Would definitely be appropriate to incorporate going forward

 

I'm perfectly fine with that. Give me 6-7 NINE songs and all of their greatest hits for a 1.5 hour set.
