Do it. He's amazing live and I always have a good time at shows when I go alone. It's not as weird as you think if you don't make it weird.

 

How is this new DaBaby record

 

Not any different than his last album if being honest....same flow, same type of beats, and same subject matter. Was hoping from the Intro he would switch up his content but it is all the same. I still kind of enjoy this and it helps its is not long but yeah I don't see me coming back to this that much other than a few songs.

 

It's solid. Doesn't strike me as something as immediately impressive as Baby on Baby. "Intro" is definitely one of his best songs and I kinda hoped he would explore that more on here. "Gospel" is pretty good, mostly because Chance over that beat almost sounds like Acid Rap era. Generally feel the tracks without features are stronger than the ones with.

 

I would agree with you on all of this. "Intro" really got me hyped that he would explore that more and then it went nowhere. He should have held "Intro" and "Gospel" and explored more of that type of subject matter than just throw them in with his typical stuff.

 

Intro and Gospel are definitely the most forward-thinking songs on here, but the other tracks are good too. They're just similar to the style we're most familiar with from him. He honestly kills some of the verses here, but he needs to switch up his flow once in a while imo.

 

I very much enjoy DaBaby's voice.

 

He is so good at riding the pocket of any beat

 

My favorite thing about DaBaby is watching women finding him so attractive they reconsider their height bias.

If anyone digs the production on Earls last album or Mike’s stuff or even some of JPEGMAFIAs quieter stuff, you should listen to slauson malone. Ex member of Standing In The Corner and is really fucking good. Mostly instrumental, but has some features from the likes of Medane and Pink Siifu too.
