Whoa! We've had reworked demos the whole time!

Sowing Season was reworked and released in 2006! And Luca! And Fork and Knife!

 

Just got my "I am a Nightmare" vinyl and this was included in the cover.. still haven't opened it.

Man what is it about this band, that I thought it literally could have been anything.

My guess is 1996, Brothers (I hope not), and Missing You or Nobody Moves.

 

For some reason I feel like we'll perhaps see a Reworked Demos Volume II + III - with maybe a demo that's not surfaced properly like Out of Range...

 

I absolutely love Out of Range. I loved that Jesse took a backseat vocals-wise, it was just so out of left field. I think that's what made the song so great.

 

Well at least no one is saying Luca.

 

for me, of the Leaked 2006 demos, i would most like to see Good Man and Brothers re-worked. im thinking about it though and if you look at the leaked demos, so many of them we already have good, or different copies of (as others have stated)

the 3 bolded are the only ones we dont have other versions of. so is it a safe guess to say it would be those 3? probably not, just a thought.

 

One of my favorite Brand New tracks.

 

Nobody Moves on the cassette may have been a tease to this this 10". They put different versions on different tapes for us to find out. It's definitely going to be one out of three.

I think Good Man is perfect as it is - there's not much to do with it imo.

Also the Missing You bridge - I like the old version better than the one they did live. The og version sounded like Built To Spill or something. The new one has lyrics though

 

Yeah I don't care much for Good Man being reworked.

 

1996, Missing You, Battalions is what I'm hoping for.


Would be nice if they were demos that we've never heard, though.

 

I'm not sure which I'm more surprised about; That Battalions is Archers or that I never knew that until now.

 

How did you not know Battalions was Archers...

 

Well, it's probably because it is a completely different song with only one line of melody in common.

 

Somehow untitled 9 got deleted from my computer in like 2008 so I thought there were only 8 demos from 2008 to like 2013 so for about 5 years I completely forgot that it even existed. I'll blame my naivety on that. haha

I was so excited when I re-downloaded them and found it.

 

Battalions and The Archers Bows Have Broken are not the same song. A few light similarities, at most.

Looks like it's Brothers, 1996 and Missing You on the 3 Reworked Demos release though.

 

good eye. That other release with Mene and Out of Range is certainly interesting
