I would say this is excessive but I am from long island so yes i agree

 

honestly ive always thought every time you have to renew your license you should have to take another road test. i dont think once every 7-8 years is asking alot, i have friends who drive TERRRRIIBBLLYY and theyre in their late 20s/30s nevermind all the crazy olds in their buicks.

 

all the people who did that around here moved to colorado

 

No highway driving on the road test is the biggest joke ever.

 

If I were giving the driving test I wouldn’t want them to go on the freeway either haha. God, my test was such a joke. I remember I basically just had to go around the block and didn’t even have to parallel park

 

So yeah I learned that there are these “free emotional labor clubs” on Facebook and I was like um ok I’m intrigued
they are BILLED AS places where you can come and ask questions and get educated without being dogpiled on and without people responding “google is free!” Etc

So I joined two out of curiosity and all I can say is wow what a train wreck

 

i had to parallel park but the test site i took it at was an industrial park where there were literally no curbs, it just went street to grass, so as long as i did it slow enough the dummy with the clipboard wouldnt even know i hit the side. passed like a boss then drove right to sports plus.

 

I think it's that Conservatives paint anyone left of center as radical left and there is definitely a sharp divide between centrists and more leftist people

I also feel so ill informed in leftist spaces and I'm way too nice and don't want anyone to get mad at me , I think for me it's that it seems obvious to me that we should take care of our planet and 27 year olds shouldn't be dying of diabetes in 2019 but apparently not

Yeah I just had to drive around streets for a little bit and didn’t parallel park.

My first time I thought I was going to pass but I guess I automatically failed because I didn’t merge into the bike lane ahead of time when making a right turn, something I rarely see people do

 

fuck I miss Sports Plus

I remember my friend and I once convinced some middle aged dude to say we were with him so we could get in, think we were too young to be there by ourselves. Gotta play DDR you know.

We would walk from the mall to SP to the movies even though we weren't supposed to. Probably amazing we weren't killed.

 

I mean I still identify as pretty radical left/radical feminist. I know that many of my views reflect this.

But then groups like this have me being like well maybe I don’t belong since I don’t feel on board with the sentiment that “addressing children as anything but gender neutral is an act of violence” and such

My first test I failed cause I drove around a bus that was pulling over to pick people up. Guess that’s illegal. I do it like 5 times a day lol

 

The day I finally passed my road test, I actually had the "mean" instructor who was failing everyone else that morning. But I guess I was doing something right.

Naturally I celebrated a day later by getting an EZ Pass and driving 2 and a half hours to play DDR at the only place on the east coast that had the (at the time) newest version of the game. RIP Nanuet Arcade :(

 

Yay I know! I’m a wee bit nervous as I have a handful of tattoos but nothing quite of this size or detail. But it’s an idea I’ve been sitting on for a while and the girl I liked had a cancellation so I said let do this

 

Am I the only one who took drivers ed so they didn’t have to take an actual drivers test??

yeahh i think like after 7 or 8pm you had to be 16 or 17 without an adult to get in lol crazy to think about that now

and yeah, plenty of nights i was dropped off at the mall and walked around the movies and that big parking lot pushing shopping carts around like deviants but had to be back at the mall by 9 as to not be in trubble lol

 

You still have to take a drivers test if you do drivers ed in Ohio.
