Yeah he’s very recognizable

 

Honestly couldn't tell you what he sounds like and I’ve heard a tonne of tracks he’s on. Nothing I’ve heard him on has made me wanna check out any of his stuff. He just seems really unremarkable.

Whereas Kendrick is immediately recognisable and has done more than any other rapper in a long time to get my attention. For the longest time, I couldn’t get into him. But a couple of years ago, something clicked and now I can’t get enough of him.

I for one do like both J. Cole and Kendrick, but I do not believe Cole is on the same level as Kendrick.

 

He's not on Kendrick's level technically, but I'd rather listen to Cole than Kendrick. Though I also don't listen to Cole that much. Like I said I wish he’d start making songs like Crooked Smile and Power Trip again because he’s great at that.

 

The double platinum with no features meme killed any potential enjoyment I might get out of his music
