I do love the hip hop outro a lot. It was a standout moment on the first playthrough. I think it has more to do with where it is sequenced than the song itself.

 

Only losers stopped using their early 00's AIM handle. I kept mine.

I don’t get wanting shorter records when all
the songs are really really good. Some that people suggested may end up being some of my favourites. Plus, we only get albums every so often, so enjoy.

Hahaha yeah. I downloaded a torrent of Futures and got a very threatening letter from a company representing them. Luckily my friend’s dad was a lawyer (but he wasn’t that kind of lawyer @KidLightning ) but he knew enough for it to not go anywhere past that

I’m getting Seinfeld “The Contest” vibes going on in here with @BTDandFeelingThis. Only instead of him being the “master of his domain” it’s “will he listen before next Friday”.

 

Okay so YES this is better than California by a good margin and YES it seems like this iteration of the band is getting more comfortable BUT I gotta say Travis is the star of this record. I absolutely love his beats like usual but he really changed things up with how the drums sound this time around. A lot more modern production on the drums and I freakin' love it.

Also I just feel like Matt and Mark both do a lot of good work on this record and have definitely learned to how to compliment eachother better vocally.

Agreed. "Inferno" was the first chat name I ever used. My friend assigned it to me in 6th grade (1996). He was Ice (or something like that). I was Inferno. I added the "Cyber" in front because "Inferno" by itself was taken everywhere I tried to use it.

 

It was kind of intense when it happened lol

 

What the hell? So weird. I totally downloaded it and got nothing. What made you so special? Haha

 

It's not a knock on the record. I love it! Personally I'd take a record that feels perfect at the cost of a couple of songs vs. a giant body of work. (Especially after the massive amount of songs from the California era)
