If you don't want to see them play covers just don't go.

Their set is still very first album heavy, I’d def be pretty bored of playing a bunch of those songs for close to 15 years. I’ve never had a bad time at a Mayday show,& this upcoming “emo” cover set in Brooklyn will probably be a blast

John // OC now, OH forever.

Yeah, I'd think that you could find a LOT worse bands to cover some of these songs. Mayday's always been pretty solid live and feels like they could do the songs justice. One need only look at Neck Deep or All Time Low's AP Awards medley performances for proof that done right, this could be a lot of fun.

Anyone know how the performance licensing works for something like this?

Aren't Dead American the band of the guy who used to sing for Saosin? That's one weird opener for Eve 6...

They are indeed! Realized that right after I posted it, and you're right - very weird.

I might be wrong but i think Bowling for Soup are teasing a 15 year tour for “A Hangover you don’t deserve”.

Praying it’s tied in with those Less Than Jake dates they’re doing.

To be able to add 2 more shows like that, they kinda had to have holds on the dates already. It was very expected

That's what I figured. Their caption made it sound like they weren't expecting them to sellout

I kinda wish they had announced the weekend dates first so I wouldn’t have had to request a day off work but I’m just glad I got a ticket to the Wednesday show. It should be a hell of a show.

Just a marketing trick. By feigning surprise they can make it seem like they’re adding these extra shows “for the fans” and not that a 4 night run was the plan the entire time.
