Yo the stretch from Black Rain to No Heart to Speak Of is on par with the middle of untitled. Unbelievably strong.

    cool dogs

i'd say its one of the more straight forward pop punk songs on the record but i keep going back to Pin the Grenade the most so far

These songs are exactly how I hoped blink would sound with Matt in the band. Such a solid album!

Favorite song so far, I think. Matt's awkward delivery of "better off dead," which I think is probably intentional, sort of takes me out of it though.

I'm a total hypocrite because I hate the idea of leaks, but also, times like these discussing first reactions are like the best thing about being a fan of a band. haha.

Already at work so I don't know if I'll partake in the leak just yet, but I'm super stoked that all of the reactions are so positive. This is going to be good.

My favourite thing/most immediate thing that pops into my head is that this album doesn't sound anything like California. Whoever produced this did a great job.

Remember to Forget Me is probably their best slow track in ages, with or without Tom.

  13. I disagree. I wasn't that big of a fan of the vast majority of California/CA DLX, but I'm about halfway through Nine and I already prefer this one!

Still very early to say, but I'm confident in saying California doesn't even come close to this. This is just dynamically on another level and is their most varied sounding album since untitled. I understand what they meant by saying this is inspired by that album.

  19. How is every song so fucking good?! Skiba absolutely kills it on "No Heart To Speak Of."

Black Rain is like if Alkaline Trio released Crimson in 2019.

The Heaven chorus is giving me major "Good to Know That If I Ever Need Attention All I Have To Do Is Die" vibes from the band that shall not be named.

Man I'm stoked for Skiba. He's left his mark on this bands legacy for sure now.
