And in under 3 min, Green Day destroys all 5 tracks Blink-182 have put out this year.

It’s nice to see that not all of the late 90s/early 00s pop punk bands resorting to using Top 40 songwriters...

For a brief period, I thought that GD used co-writers on "Still Breathing" but it turns out the melody was a little too close to The Sruts "Could Have Been Me" so they gave them (Struts) credit.

Does he have songwriting/pub credits on the track? I just saw production.

I’ll take Butch any day over whatever pop music algorithm wrote some of those new Blink songs though.

Dunno how nice Green Day is about it, but he could/should based on how the industry works these days. Producers in 2020 should be getting that bag and credit.

I like pop music more than I like the Black Keys.

Honestly, I took as tongue-in-cheek, making fun of that kind of attitude. The "no politics" part seems like obvious nonsense given the album cover.

    If I'm wrong, that's a big yikes.

blink-182 has been making straight up pop music made for radio for two full decades.

Their new stuff is no less of a "pop algorithm" than Enema of the State or TOYPAJ.

On the Billboard article BJ stated that too many rock acts are trying to make “feel good summer” songs and this album has rock music that will “make you feel bad”.

Seems kind of tone deaf considering the other acts on this bill.

On the fence.... on the fence. When bang bang was released I was fucking amped and got rewarded with a great album. This one...not sure yet.

    Not sure...just not sure.

    Kinda bland for my liking
