Primeiro disco do Forfun é praticamente cópia de blink/NFG/YC, hahaha. tem ainda Strike, NX Zero, Hateen... várias bandas que surgiram inspiradas no auge do blink.

edit: sorry, thought you were brazilian. some bands that were born around blink's peak are Strike, NX Zero and early Hateen. there are a couple of new bands that are gonna open The Wonder Years' shows in august: Dinamite Club and Mundo Alto. thought you might like them.

12 tracks is tough but I could see myself putting After Midnight on it depending on my mood.

 

I'd probably put Natives on it and may put After Midnight.

 

I would have to really think about my 12 favorite but I think "Kaleidoscope" would be up there. That and "After Midnight" are the only ones I think would be contenders for me.

 

One of these would make it: Wishing Well, Even If She Falls, Up All Night, Ghost on the Dance Floor. Wouldn't be high up though. And nothing from California comes close to my top 25 even though I am really enjoying a few songs from it

 

neighborhoods is my favorite blink album so it's more a matter of "will i even pick songs from enema/toypaj" haha

 

Cynical could totally make a top 12 for me..but I need more time

 

A top 12 blink song list for me would pretty much be like 9 songs from Untitled, and then Pathetic, Emo and Waggy.

 

A week after it came out nobody should be putting songs from California in a top 12 yet, that's crazy to me. And that's from someone who is tentatively putting this as my 4th favorite album, above TOYPAJ lol. San Diego and Left Alone personally have a shot, but it feels impossible for me to even do a top 12 haha.

Nothing from Neighborhoods or DED would sniff my top 12, I know that.

 

Glad to see some love for "Emo" on here. Anyone who doesn't like that song is better off sleeping on the floor.

 

Emo would be a definite no-brainer for my top 12.

 

As of right now, "California" is easily my 3rd favorite blink album, behind Dude Ranch and Untitled.

 

I love how high people are ranking California in their albums, and how well it's doing. Blink-182 is back!!!

However I often wonder if (myself included) the album is being ranked so high on our list because it's fresh new and exciting or it's really that good? I vote latter

 

Random thought, but I can't stand people who leave stupid comments like "blink was never good to begin with" or, "this band has been making me cringe since I was 15". it's like, ok, that's cool, I guess? It doesn't make you cooler or edgier than anyone else to think that your musical tastes are far above blink. I feel like I mainly only see these types of comments directed towards blink. It's such a tired and unoriginal thing to say at this point.

That wasn't easy. I realize I like TOYPAJ and S/T as full albums, but it's hard for me to single out specific songs I like.

Also, this is a track list, not a ranking.

Making the initial lists of songs I'd consider, I took out Adam's Song, Shut Up, All the Small Things, Natives, Wendy Clear, Story of a Lonely Guy, Feeling This, Easy Target, Down, and Violence.

 

I think its normal for people to rank something new high because its fresh in their minds. Personally California is my 4th favorite blink album right now but who knows if that will change in a year or so after I get off of the finally getting new blink music high. I do think this album will age well.

I am however very happy at how well the album is selling and that for the most part people are enjoying it. I'm super happy for Mark, Travis and Matt, they deserve this.

Every time I hear " Always " now I actually would have thought Matt wrote it. He completely nails it live.

 

I couldn't hear Matt much at all on California but there are numerous Blink songs that came to mind when they announced Matt was joining. Always is definitely one of them plus Every Time I Look For You, Dammit, Easy Target, etc....

 

You couldn't hear him much on California ? He sings on every song on the album, you can't miss him aha.

 

I meant his influence, ya dingus haha. But also I've had a hard time differentiating his voice at times even in Alkaline. I don't know what it is.
