It just sucks for them that Bell and Brown kinda imploded because they did give that team a lot of swagger until the culture-balance broke.

 

So weird! You're down 20. You score the touchdown there, you're 20-7 and got a little momentum. Defense makes a stop and all the sudden things are starting to get interesting.

Instead, they roll over and kick, 20-3, and like 3 plays later the Patriots are in the end zone because the Steelers defense knew the game was over. Like, just fundamentally bad.

I’m really excited to watch you guys watch Minshew this week. I would really like him to succeed because he seems like a cool underdog story with great facial hair, but I think it’ll be entertaining regardless since no one knows what to expect

I genuinely believe if you make enough bad calls eventually it’s just a numbers game that you’ll be right about something hahah. But yeah. We’ll see how the next 8 games go. Not gonna hold my breath until we start winning some of them.

 

He did! I’m encouraged by it. I thought he looked better than the stat line indicated too. Had a couple really nice looking incompletions that were caught by the receiver but not handled completely in bounds

I’m interested to see how he does when he needs to be the focal point of the offense, rather than just running down their throats and throwing as a change of pace, but I was very pleased with his first start

 

I’ve been very critical of Jacoby Brissett but every year is a new year and I will refrain from undue criticism so long as he plays like he did yesterday.

 

Which is funny cause I don’t extend that same olive branch to Marcus Mariota lmao

Idk how that game suddenly became a blowout. For 3 quarters it was all defense and Henry. Cameron Wake is an upgrade over Brian Orakpo, etc. I am still very mad they got AJ Brown though. Both our third round picks are hurt already and I almost wish we traded up with those picks to select Brown.

 

I feel like we have enough data now to know Mariota isn't good.

 

For all the things I’m wrong about; I’m gonna straight up claim correct about that one because my take on Mariota to TEN all along is exactly what happened.
