After a week with this record, I love the whole thing except for "Los Angeles". Something about that song comes off as a shitty song written for a movie. Everything else I dig!

I was wondering if you guys could recommend some brazilian or even portuguese bands comparable to blink-182 or even Brand New. Only brazilian band I've heard is Mamonas Assassinas.

I wouldn't put anything post breakup on a twelve best. I can come up with (at least) four songs each from Dude Ranch through Untitled that are better than any Neighborhoods/California songs.

After Midnight, Natives, Dogs Eating Dogs, Cynical, and Sober would be the threats from Neighborhoods-California for me.

 

i can think of Strike and NX Zero, both from Brazil.

 

If Sober were to be a single I'd put it in the upper half of their singles though

 

I actually made a best of blink mix today, but it ain't no 12. It's a 28 song mix so I won't bother listing them all lol. But off of Neighborhoods there was Natives, Even if She Falls, and After Midnight. California had Cynical, BTD, Sober, and No Future

 

California is cool and all but I don't think anything post initial break up makes it into my favorites.
