I think it's great that these new songs are somewhat new and a little different sound wise, but when I hear them there's still parts that make me think "oh, that's definitely a blink-182 song."

 

Been listening to Neighborhoods most of the week. I haven't listened to it in awhile. I usually listen on cooler/overcast days. There really are some great songs on it.

I’m just starting a two week solo trip in the UK and Ireland so a leak would really solidify me thinking about this trip every time I hear the album. Wouldn’t be mad about that.

the weird thing is that he's actually great but i think he doesn't know how to use his voice all the time. i saw blink at rockfest in 2014 and he was fucking around doing vibrato and shit

 

He's just so hit and miss. One of pop punks greatest questions is how Tom's voice changed to the degree that it has.

 

i just think he didn't want to sound childish / immature anymore so when he started AVA he tried a new technique that would fit that style more and stuck with it. not sure what he'd sound like now if AVA never happened

 

And yet he sounded much better before AvA. The irony.

 

I was actually just thinking that I prefer Tom's voice now compared to the old days by a good margin and how weird that is.

I like the artwork A LOT. I just don't know about the tortoise pick guard on it. I kinda like it without it haha. I LOVE that baby blue one with the monsters on it from the CA era though.

 

I also don't get how they've had so many cool posters and their merch is 100% the opposite of that lol

 

Check that dude's website and he's got a few tour posters for sale that he designed for some shows in 2017
