So I might know too much about Brutal Legend, but when they got the rights back they put it on Steam and it made them a lot of money. According to them, it saved their studio for a while there, if I remember it right. So yeah, it bombed originally, but that might have been EA's doing, because like I said it did really well when DF brought it to Steam.

also I really don’t like Tim Schaefer’s writing and that’s why most of their games fall flat for me.

Ive been watching quite a bit of a ‘lets play’ for witcher 3 to see if its something id like... so far it seems boring af wasnt expecting to feel this way

 

This opinion is wrong.

 

The Witcher 3 is a fantastic open-world rpg. A lot of people think the combat is bad, BUT those people probs didn’t make an oils/signs focused character like I did. I prepped before every monster battle, and the combat was smooth as butter.

 

Ive heard from everyone its great. Im sure it is. It just might not be for me. Ill watch some more, I really want to like it enough to give it a shot.

 

Just buy it and try it out
