Yeah I'd say Feeling This would probably be in my top 15 or 20

 

There are so few things that I feel safe in saying are my top of absolute favorite. Beyond those few things, I can never make such declarations. I kind of wish I could. I feel like it would be freeing in a way to just say my top whatever and move on with it. Instead my brain just keeps going “what about this? But what about that? But... but.... as well....” my brain doesn’t shut up haha

 

Stay Together For The Kids is my top Blink song pre Untitled. Might be a hot take. *shrug*

 

Going away to College was definitely single worthy in my mind.

 

random thought but i wonder if On Some Emo Shit's reception might dictate how they go about writing songs in the future. if people LOVE it, could give them more confidence writing more songs without too much producer involvement (not that that's necessarily bad as evidence from all the songs we've gotten so far).

of course they weren't too satisfied with the songs they first started writing together pre-California but with nearly 5 years since then, could be interesting. I guess Emo Shit will be the litmus test. man so curious on hearing that song haha.

Idk how they constantly referred to Jerry Finn as the 4th band member but only now is it construed as they have an abundance of producer input lol

If they drop Feelin This live, that’s okay with me. It has never sounded good live, even though it is one of my favorite Blink songs.

 

On the topic of co-writers, I really enjoy Sober. Whatever degree Patrick contributed to that song, worked out well.

According to Mark he was fooling around with an acoustic guitar with two or three broken strings and came up with the riff/music.

 

If Jerry was still alive he would have had writing credits like Feldy/the other producers they have worked with do now. Time/writing credits were much different in the late 90s/early 2000s.

Didn’t Tom in Pursuit of Tone said he wrote the riff?

 

Feeling this is one of their best but definetly overplayed.

But anything on the Untitled is some steps above everything else if only because of the production.
