Really? Based on Spotify monthly listeners FOB is much bigger.

 

That does not translate to ticket sales.

 

Green Day is bigger than Fall Out Boy.

 

I was surprised MANIA outsold Revolution Radio so dramatically. Rev Radio took three weeks to sell MANIA’s first week.

 

And Mania is their lowest-selling record since TTTYG, correct?

FOB has 10 million monthly listeners more than Green Day, but they also have 3 million followers less than them. Meaning more people listen to them because of playlists and stuff like that, but they have less hardcore fans.

 

I would guess Green Day headlines, and maybe FOB/Weezer alternate

 

I feel like Green Day fell off the last few albums while FOB had a few hits

 

Green Day will no doubt headline this as they should, but they definitely are not leagues bigger than FOB in 2019. It’s only one metric obviously, but FOB have 10 MILLION more monthly listeners on Spotify than Green Day do.

It's astounding that anyone thinks they would play after Green Day imo

 

I could see an argument for FOB headlining in like, 2013-2016 over Green Day, but there's no way Green Day isn't headliner here.

 

Reputation is a hard to quantify thing that plays a big role. Remember Weezer are huge culturally despite the fact Africa was their first actual hit in decades

 

Internationally, as a touring act, Green Day is way bigger than those other two. In Europe Green Day can play like soccer stadiums. It’s like Bon Jovi level.

 

Yeah, Green Day are by far the biggest band on that bill. They have an army of fans from the 90s remember.
