Yea, stipends are cool but it's super shitty when companies act like they're giving you gods gift to the world for an extra 5 bucks a day for transportation

 

Just driving without people around, like Olympia would be. And its GORGEOUS

There’s no income tax in Washington state either so our friends in PDX were telling us a lot of people will come down from there to make their big purchases like cars, electronics, jewelry, etc. lol

Olympia isn't as big as Portland, I'd assume. I feel like any major city is going to beat out somewhere even just slightly more rural.

 

I grew up in a town that was probably 95% white and didn't get any cultural exposure until I went to pitt

 

Olympia is just very very pretty. Wouldnt buy there but I'd vacation there

 

I grew up in the only county in Florida where white people werent the 1st or 2nd most populous demographic. Lived in Jacksonville, Charlotte, Denver, and Atlanta since. There is a clear outlier in that list haha

 

There's also pretty decent ferry access, Daniel Bryan grew up in Aberdeen so I just assume he went fishing a lot.

 

Idk what a Daniel Bryan is but let's do a massive chorus road trip!!!!!

This seems to be resolved but yes, driving just for the sake of driving can be very fun and enjoyable.

Eastern WA no way. Very boring. But Olympia and other parts of WA for sure.

Personally I still feel like Idaho, Montana, Maine / Vermont are the most beautiful states to drive through.

Wyoming is always oddly disappointing even though it’s surrounded by beautiful states.

 

California is beautiful to drive through.
