I fell in love with Ramsey the moment he got into it with AJ Green calling him “weak” lmao

 

What actually made me love him is his back and forths with Hopkins because they continuously blow each other up and also are like best friends

And that’s what made Hopkins jump to the top WR in the league to me, because after seeing what Ramsey does to Brown... it’s amazing how Hopkins can bully Ramsey back and assert his 6 catches for 100 yards against him on a regular basis. He’s the only WR i am scared of right now.

With Jalen Ramsey I’m not. He makes great receivers look pathetic all the time. He’s done it to OBJ, Tyreek Hill, Antonio Brown, AJ Green, TY Hilton, etc

 

You just need to get an elite CB like Pierre Desir on your team instead

 

I do think Julio would have some volume still against Ramsey... but he wouldn’t win in the red zone.

Xavien Howard is really good against Hopkins too

 

Well yeah, no Falcons player wins in the red zone

 

Xavien Howard is my #2 corner in the league. It’s very possible he’s better at a few subtle things than Ramsey. Ramsey relies more on his length, power and recovery speed while Xavien Howard has a lower center of gravity and better agility so I would say Howard is better at mirroring the route. And he’s still quite physical himself (though I would honestly say Ramsey is the strongest DB in the league.)

 

Like two years later and I’m still in disbelief that AJ Green was pushed to the point of choke slamming Ramsey lol

 

Curious what your top 10 would look like. CB is one of the positions I enjoy watching most and I enjoy learning more and more about it

 

Let me watch all the week 1 games to remind myself who’s who and I’ll actually probably do a serious top 10 ranking. Maybe @CarpetElf will do one too.

I could do a sloppy one now but I’d probably forget a few important guys

 

But it’s definitely 1) Ramsey 2) Howard and I personally don’t see any other CB disputing those two

 

I hope Donte Jackson can elevate himself to top 10. He had a promising rookie year but was definitely unpolished.
