For some reason I really picture Halsey singing this song.

Mark's voice is just flat and repetitive imo. I think Matt's voice definitely would have done wonders for this song, his voice has that haunting echo that would have fit perfect with the music.

Am I the only one hearing “I really wish I hate a Jew”? This just in: blink-182 is anti-Semitic!

Just imagine her on a remix of this song.

Yeah, this song should definitely be the radio hit.

Overall the song is cool I guess, I'm not a fan of the modern pop rock sound, though.

Imagine if this was the first song they introduced from the album.

I liked it. Not more than I did with Darkside, GD, and BIOMY after first listens though.

Yeah, this song is tied with Chase Atlantic's "HER" as my favorite song of the year.

My ranking of the singles so far:
    1. I Really Wish I Hated You
    2. Darkside
    3. Generational Divide
    4. Happy Days
    5. Blame It On My Youth

...I don’t think I’ve heard one person say they have heard this.

    (I haven’t listened myself)

Yes, it does sound like a song that a number of other artists could sing. It for sure belongs on the radio. Hope it's a critical banger even though it's not my favorite Blink song. I think this has the potential to get more plays than BIOMY.

It will be a cool driving song for days heading home from the beach.

Not sure how I feel about this one

Unlike the others I'm only going to listen once though. Very stoked for the album and to see them again next week!

I bet the transition into this song on the album is pretty dope.

This new song is as heavily influenced by Travis's other projects as Ghost on the Dancefloor was to Tom and AVA. I respect the push to do something different even though my expectations were through the roof from their initial hype before they scrapped the material and started over with co-writers and radio songs. There's no reason this song won't blow up on the radio.

Paper Rain by Andrew McMahon and the Wilderness popped up A LOT for me as an ad.

    cool dogs

listened a couple times but think i'll hold off for now until the rest of the albums out. honestly on those first listens, i think it might be my least favorite of the bunch, but as others have said, the production, Matt at the end, the bridge were all some highlights, and i think it could have potential to do well on radio. i'm sure i'll like it even better in the context of the album.

really appreciating the diversity in the 5 songs we have. can't say the songs released prior to California had this range of sound, and am looking to hear what other sounds and styles are on the album. roll on the 20th will ya

I'm 29 now, and I've been a fan of Blink since I was 10, and I really don't understand the hate around Blink these days. I've follow this forum for a while, and I'm glad to see that there's a positive vibe here, unlike hateful comments that we can see on Instagram and others. I do understand that we can dislike the new songs but everything seems out of place.

Personally, I really like this new song. I don't care if that's "pop" or whatever, I think it's a fucking good song. I love the chorus, it contrast well with the verses, and the outro with Matt is just beautiful.
