The Alchemists new album is really bloody good. He's easily one of the top 5 beat makers of all time IMO.

 

That Young Nudy and Pi'erre Bourne is low key one of the best releases of the year

 

Sunflower Seeds is the chillest song of 2019.

The indie rock/emo scene has been firing on all cylinders so i doubt this will make my top 10 at end of year, but its easily in top 5 hip hop releases of year for me.

Oh yeah, sorry, I was definitely talking strictly hip hop. Though it'll likely sit around the top 20-30 for me by the end of the year, which I guess is still something considering the year we've had so far and the stuff still to come. I've liked Nudy for a bit but nothing had wowed me from him until this. He just sounds so good over Pi'erre's production and honestly these might be his best beats (although I haven't listened to his solo stuff, which some people say is where he keeps his best stuff).

 

I'd never heard anything from Nudy or Pi'erre prior to "Sli'merre", but I liked it enough to check out "The Life of Pi'erre 4" but it just didn't click with me the same way. Maybe I'll have to give it another shot.

Did any of y’all check out Faded In The Booth, Nudy’s other release from this year? I haven’t gotten around to it yet but I love Sli’merre

 

I haven’t. I think SlimeBall 3 is the only other full project I’ve heard.

 

Need to check out both of those.

 

IDK record is pretty good! His flow and cadence *really* reminds me of Kanye quite often. Stacked list of features too.

I listened to the first three songs off that Slimere album and the beats are so good I love it

 

With Mac Miller and the deceased Angels player it seems problematic charges are being filed against people who sold them the drugs
