Oh my GOD this coworker who spends all his time on breaks took like an extra half hour on his lunch because our boss is gone and I've gotten 10 calls in a row and I'm gonna murder him

 

I'm supposed to be in charge cuz our boss is gone and I can't be in charge because half the team is gone too so I have to cover both tier 1 responsibilities and management responsibilities AND my own responsibilities

 

Well that’s a shame because I really leveled with you and was real with you.

Yeah, i read it. Gonna private message you my response because i'm honestly assuming the 10,000 other people in this thread are sick of this discussion.

 

Their beer guy was nice to me. Saw my sox hat and could tell I was not adjusted to the heat so he dumped a shit ton of ice into my hat for me lol

Oh weird, I just kinda assumed everyone's done that. Toss a little water in the hat or some ice cubes to cool down.

 

I did that a lot in Boy Scouts

 

Water/ice in the hat was like a daily thing when I was growing up playing baseball

See, I think I’d rather be in the Hall of Fame. It’s like, would you rather want a Witten career or a Martellus Bennett career? One has a ring and the other is an all-time great.

 

I know I'd rather be Dan Marino than Trent Dilfer.

 

Lol sure, I was trying to find a “better” comparison of a good/solid starter for a few years who won it all vs someone great their whole career. Dilfer is a bit too much of a dud for the comparison to work fairly in my mind.

 

I'll go back to a similar example to the one I used and say I'd rather be Julian Edelman than Larry Fitzgerald (off field things excluded for both)

 

Also, here’s the supposed cap numbers by season.

 

I imagine when it kicks up to 16 is when they can cut him with no dead money? If so, not so bad.

 

That random 12.6 in the middle is so weird to me.

 

I'm mad at the aforementioned coworker so I'm spending the last hour of work playing Madden
