imo the 3 most important positions in the game are QB, LT, pass rusher. Dolphins had their LT for the next decade. Traded for Rosen at a cheap price (yet were still bad enough to get one of the QBs in the upcoming draft if needed), and were trying to get Clowney. They were about to be heading in the right direction. Now they have no LT, didn’t get Clowney, and are putting all their chips in the Tua basket. It could work but I don’t like it.

 

We still dont know if its Tua they're after. Tbh they would be smart to stick with Rosen next year. I would trade down with one pick and trade out with the Houston pick. Acquire as much ammo as you can and just trade up for TLaw.

 

Yea, everyone thought the Giants passed on darnold so they could take Herbert this year and they take Daniel jones. They're just kicking the can in hopes they find someone they like enough, there isn't just one qb they like or will like.

 

And tbf Clowney didn’t want to play in Miami. So not completely their fault.

They chose Bonnafon over Holyfield because of PR ability. Holyfield is cool but we don’t have room for him.

I don’t think you’ll actually see a big difference in CMC’s touches. But he played an absurd % of snaps last year. Like his was the highest and second highest % was behind him by a good amount. They weren’t happy with Artis-Payne’s development and revamped the backup RBs. Scarlett had a decently solid camp. Bonnafon had a phenomenal camp. He won his job. And like I said above he was PR ability which is something we lack.

As far as the other two cuts, Torrey Smith never plays and we saved money letting him go. Seymour was hurt all last year and then hurt his hamstring this summer. He was the first on the chopping block all along.

 

At least Scarlett is better than Holyfield.

Also, they need to limit CMC's carries. Dude was on the field more than a lot of offensive linemen last year. They're going to eventually break him.
