that was a fantatsic ppv, by far my favorite triple threat and Y2J is the first AEW champion?? AEW might not be trying to be competition to WWE but that officially did it for me, fuck Raw and Smackdown

The Cody match was so overbooked. And I still don’t get if he’s supposed to be a heel or a face. Probably the most I’ve enjoyed a bucks match. Since there were no pinfalls I wasn’t taken out of it with all the false finishes. Main event wasn’t bad. Fun show.

I think AEW is heading in a great direction and for shows with ZERO tv for build up these shows have been fantastic and feature a great, fun variety and have a different feel to it then other promotions. Excited for TV to start big time.

Main event put me to sleep but mostly a good show. Was definitely too long and the ladder match was scarier than good. Shawn Spears is a geek

 

In 24 hours, I got to witness Gangrel win a match and Arn fucking Anderson hit someone with a spinebuster. Best weekend ever.

 

Rumor is she is unfortunately going to have to retire early due to an injury

 

Good PPV. Enjoyed almost every match in some way and everything was solid to great except the Dark Order blows. The announcing needs some work as they botch quite a few things (mostly JR) and the production needs to be better, but this is great for only being the 4th show. The Barrel brawl and Ladder match were by far my favorites.

Catching up on All Out now. The woman's battle royal was a hot mess that so was so poorly booked. Why did 90% of the eliminations all happen in random chunks right as the next group of people were entering? Did absolutely zero justice to how much great talent that had in that ring. Not sure what all their status is, but a women's division of Brit Baker, Mercedes Martinez, Tenille Dashwood, Priscilla Kelly, Big Swole, Nyla Rose, Allie, and Ivelisse is pretty solid (no idea if any of them can really sell a feud on the mic, though).

Missed Awesome Kong’s elimination because of the joker reveal. It was really bad. Probably has more to do with the camera work than anything else, but it really highlighted how far behind they are in terms of production. They’re going to struggle if this is the quality they’re putting out on weekly tv, no matter how good the wrestling is. That said, live it was a mess too.

 

And it’s sad that even with all of these prouduction flaws, I’d rather watch this flawed show every week over anything the WWE main roster does.

 

Until she got back into the ring with Bea, I legit thought Brit Baker had been eliminated. On paper, the format they're doing for these rumbles is cool, but in execution it's terrible.

 

Starting Walter vs Bate now. The video package makes me sad I didn’t keep up with NXT UK.
