I just think Miami would’ve been bad enough to still get a top QB in this draft without trading Tunsil. Now they’re gonna be searching for a young tackle AND a QB. Picks are cool but they’re gonna be trying to get the same thing they traded away to get those picks.

 

Clowney is gonna look terrifying in those Seattle’s colors. Reminds me of how Kam Chancellor looks like a player killing robot.

$14.25M AAV, $8.25M gtd per year. I am definitely good with that, behind Wagner and Mosley is a fair price point for him.

Definitely makes sense we locked up Jack first considering we lost Telvin this year and have no idea when he will be back. We need that franchise LB.

 

this was my initial take on it as well. As I said, I probably would not have done this trade.

But its the New England system. Do they really value OL? Right wrong or indifferent, thats just how it is now

also they are basically now all but guaranteed to get whatever QB They want this year (or next I guess)

 

Hopefully Rosen is the answer and you don’t need to draft another QB, but taking away his blindside protector isn’t going to help him adjust at all

I think this trade pretty much tells you all you need to know about whether or not they think Rosen is the answer

 

Two firsts and a second is probably enough to be worth trading any not elite non-QB for, tbh

Houston is gonna likely be picking late teens / early 20’s unless they really go to shit so it’ll be interesting how valuable those picks are depending on how strong each draft is

 

Maybe Browns for awhile there? Or Dallas after the Vikings trade? Saints after the Ricky Williams trade?

Houston could go 5-1 there and I wouldn’t be surprised. Saints always have a baffling September game (last year vs TB), Jags who knows, Chargers I’m not sold on for two years in a row, Panthers and Falcons will be tough but are not intimidating. Only “for sure” loss if I had to pick one would be Kansas City.

Or they could go 1-5 or 2-4 because BOB.

 

Texans have one of the toughest schedules this year. Shouldn't face as many cupcake QBs that they went up against last year.

 

Idk. I count 11 QB’s they face this year that I would think Watson stacks up against and / or that I wouldn’t be super fearful of.

 

Herbert vs Tua is gonna be a great draft season debate
