what is Tom's deal? gah!

 

Tom actually sounds pretty damn good here.

 

After re-watching that iHeart radio performance, they can NOT drop 'Always' from their set list. Skiba absolutely murders it

 

Who else remembers when they very first reunited, and they played Leno. Tom sang ATST like it was an Angels song(even worse then he did closer to last year leaving.) and then mark made some comment about like "Tom has heard what you have said about his singing." On his Twitter lol

 

Something about reading Mark talk about Tom. It always seems like he lost a brother and he does everything to try and keep him. Maybe i'm reading into it wrong, but he sounds sad talking about Tom, but at the same time Tom doesn't give a shit about Mark.

 

Yeah I still really enjoy that record. If Blink never broke up the first time I'd imagine a lot of those songs would have been the next Blink record, and with Mark and Travis' input those songs would have been even better.

 

Actually this is great. I like Mark's voice here so much better. And beating a dead horse but kudos to them for putting up with this for so long.

I was at the Winnipeg show last night. They played it.

The only songs they played from California were "Bored to Death" and "Built This Pool." From Neighbourhoods, "Up All Night." Everything else was classic Blink.

It was a great show.

 

I understand they want to please casual fans with the hits and all that stuff, but it's a bummer when Mark says he doesn't want to become a legacy act and still write new music. That's all I can think too when they are coming to my town because the only people that come is rock bands from the 70's and 80's who are washed up, country stars, and yeah lol. We just got FOB last summer which is pretty cool so hopefully more good stuff comes our way lol

I was just listening. The fan questions are pretty bland.

 

Not sure if this has been posted in here, yet, but they'll have the number 1 album this week with over 100k albums sold.

 

If some of the new songs from California catch on, I'd expect Blink to rotate them in eventually. The older Blink stuff is just so fun for fans, and this may be naive but I genuinely believe that the band still enjoys playing them (or at least are good at faking it), so I didn't mind.

 

When they were on BBC you could tell Mark genuinely loves All The Small Things. And it sounds great now with Matt, bet that helps.

 

Blink 182 are number 1 in the UK

 

I love the hits blink always plays but I'm gonna be super bummed if they don't play Cynical or Sober. I've also always wanted to hear Pathetic but I've accepted that won't happen.

 

I wish they would always open with Dumpweed. Hearing those notes ring out unexpectedly feels so right.

I've never really liked Feeling This live. I think the chorus is the catchiest part of the untitled record, yet they've always sung it differently live. Wish they would sing it the way it is on the record. So damn catchy. But I don't dig the live melody they do it in.

 

I mean they did rehearse Pathetic for this tour so good chance it will show up at some point.

 

listening to Neighborhoods for the first time in...whenever it was released. It's a lot better than I thought, I really like After Midnight. But the album is crazy Tom heavy.

 

I like some of it, but there are basically no Tom-only songs that I like. Maybe "Wishing Well" I guess, but it's pretty obvious that he wrote most of that album by himself with hardly any input from the other guys.

 

I'd be filled with joy if they played " Don't Leave Me " at my show. You'd catch me jumping around in the lawn if they played it.

 

Natives, After Midnight, Hearts all Gone, Even if She Falls. I'll still throw those ones on sometimes.

 

It's kinda crazy how much my opinion on the new album has changed in the last 2 days. It's really growing on me a lot more than i thought i would, which makes me so happy. Especially Sober and Kings of the Weekend, which i thought were two of the worst songs on the album, they've now bumped up. I still think The Only Thing That Matters is probably the worst song on here. Such a meh song.
