Before that, it didn't really matter to anybody.

 

I've been watching analysts question and laugh at them for how they handled their OL concerns during FA and the draft. I still see people dunking on them for getting leapt by the Eagles in the draft for Andre Dillard

 

Houston's never made it through the Divisional round in the playoffs. The Jets made it to the AFC Championship twice this decade.

You can bring up Rex Ryan and the basically meaningless Tim Tebow trade that had absolutely no impact on the team whatsoever, but the Jets are far from a circus. They just get more media coverage because of their market.

Have the Jets been awful since 2010? Mostly, but they've had their success at times too.

Sorry I'm chiming in late on the Clowney trade, but I was just laughing too hard to be able to physically post about it for the last three hours.

 

Why, with the trash OL you have, would you be interested in signing a 31-year old RB who has shown signs of decline for at least two straight years when you have solid/good, young depth at the position with Austin Ekeler and Justin Jackson? Not to mention, Gordon MUST return at some point to gain an accrued season.

 

The Rams gave a 3rd for Dante fowler 2 seasons ago lol

@Night Channels remember that NY is of course a huge market and no matter how shit a NY team is, it’s still New York (a la Knicks still being talked about every year as a hit spot for free agents) and New York will forever be talked about just like LA (and Dallas at least for football - no matter how bland or bad the team actually is).

Meanwhile Houston I forget even has a professional football team (like probably most of the world) until I see someone mention them in this thread
