I was unaware of Bret Stephens until a few days ago, but watching him double then triple then quadruple down on this bedbug thing is excruciatingly fucking embarrassing. Him continuing to try to push this thing is like watching someone try to give themselves a nickname, or watching someone trying to make a catch-phrase happen.

City police shot and killed someone last night and the local paper has that as the headline and the conservatives are all up in the comments asking why the dude is being called a “suspect” and why the headline says they shot and killed him

 

the blue live matter crowd makes sharp turns into killing cops and government officials real quick on any gun control issue

 

This was very interesting. That is some cold-blooded fucking language in there, especially the stuff around amortization. God damn. It basically says 'if we graciously allow you to live your dirty little peasant life, you should spend the entirety of it paying us back for that opportunity.'

He brings up a very good point about it being a huge vulnerability for her if she is the candidate, and exactly the type of vulnerability Trump has shown he excels at exploiting.

This is the first thing that has even given me pause about considering her to be the absolute best candidate.
