I've never really paid much attention to LDR, but this album has absolutely captivated me. Can already tell this will be high up on the end-of-year lists.

 

The album lost me a bit in the back half, but after first listen it's definitely the most I have liked a Lana album

 

This album lulls hard in a few places for me, but has some real high highs - which is pretty standard for a Lana record.

Fuckin' Cinnamon Girl, man.

The hardest part about making a top 5 albums of the decade list is ranking Lana’s discography

 

I’m only about halfway through but what the fuck this is incredible???

I haven’t loved any of her records since Ultraviolence (admittedly didn’t even spend much time with the two after it) but this just feels like her leveling up in every possible sense.

It’s incredible how many times I’ve listened to Venice Bitch and MAC and not even come close to being sick of them

love song and cinnamon girl are probably my favorite of the non prereleased tracks.

 

i absolute adore all four other albums, they are all v special to me in their own way. but this feels like her magnum opus. jack really got the best version of lana on every single song.

Straight off the back of her latest album, Norman F***ing Rockwell, Lana Del Rey has announced she has another record coming out in 2020.

“I’ve already written parts of it,” the artist told The Times. “It’s called White Hot Forever. I feel like it probably will be a surprise release sometime within the next 12 or 13 months.”

She added: “I’m really excited right now. I don’t want to take a break.”
