For sure. I guess I don't want to take away from his point because he's spot on here. My problem is that there's already so much preferential treatment and so much sweeping-under-the-rug that happens for kids who commit serious crimes (looking at you Michigan State and sexual assault....) that Saban's point for me just rings hollow. It's also hard for me to take him at face value when he has so many reasons beyond "rehabilitating" players busted for weed or alcohol; they make his chances of winning games better, the more he wins, the more money he makes kind of thing.

I don't know. I spent 1.5 years around a college football program and that's too long for me to trust any coaches in big money athletics at all.
