    beautiful and chequered, the end

got a ticket to see the world wide premiere of Colour Out of Space and i honestly have no idea what to expect from this film. Gonna be interesting going in completely blind without even a trailer being out

edit: just realized this is Richard Stanleys first film since Dr. Moreau and now im even more confused on what the fuck this movie is going end up being.

  3. Is there anything on this list that you've seen that you'd recommend?

    Movies like MANDY

I loved Revenge and Starry Eyes. Beyond the Black Rainbow is obviously gonna make that list cause of Panos but it's much so much slower in comparison to Mandy. I haven't revisited it since I randomly threw it on Shudder last year but I enjoyed it. Its gorgeous and the soundtrack is rad.

Ready or Not was pretty fun. Also they showed a trailer for Underwater which I had never heard of before and honestly I'm into it.

Surprised it has taken me this long but finally saw Hideo Nakata's Ring and that made for a deeply unsettling experience, unlike most horror films that I have watched.

yeah! that looks really good. my theatre also gave me The Lighthouse. was amazing seeing that on the big screen in a room of very confused strangers haha

I don't think I even got any horror trailers before Ready or Not haha. I remember Hustlers and Queen & Slim. I think there was only one other one.

watched NOES Dream Warriors and Dream Master last night. trying to finish what's on Shudder before the 31st which is the first 6 movies and a nearly 4 hours documentary.

Dream Warriors was a lot of fun, still creepy too, really enjoyed that one, 1st movie may still be my favorite though, but great entry. I really enjoyed Dream Master as well, not entirely sure the ending lands? but the majority was really good with really creative kills and good practical effects.

Of all of them, I think Dream Master was the first one I saw on TV as a kid. The girl turning into a cockroach still freaks me out.

Saw Crawl last night and really enjoyed it, lots of fun. It was very straightforward and didn't try to be anything more than it was. I was a little surprised at how tame when it came to gore considering Aja's past work (omitting Piranha 3D cause have not seen).
