that one leaked a while back, it's really not too good. not sure what his delivery from the "master your card" lyric onwards was meant to be but it's annoying

the other DAYTONA leftover is one of his best songs tho

 

He wasn't even going to release this, just did because it leaked

 

I'm not sure about that, it was on the original running order for DAYTONA and there was an interview right before that dropped where he said he had plans to release "Sociopath". I don't have the link handy but I didn't imagine this I swear

 

Ah you may be right, I was just going by this tweet where he kind of makes it sound like it was unplanned

Wonder if “Sociopath” is on it considering the similarities in artwork. Also, I’m really confused why people don’t like it.

 

I’ll believe it when i see it lol Pusha made so many promises about when King Push was dropping before Daytona eventually happened.

 

Same, it's got a lot of the same murky minimalist qualities that I enjoyed about Prelude (or even a bit of HHNF)

gonna be that guy and say the leak version was honestly way better. may be just because I've been banging it on repeat and I'm used to it but they made a bunch of little changes all for the worse. I hate it when that happens lol

 

Honestly did not expect a new Push album this year at all but now I'm hyped and ready to be let down when it doesn't happen lol


I imagine some of the songs will be the ones intended for King Push that he cut when the 7-song mandate came around for Daytona

 

Coming Home is amazing. Love the shoutouts for old heads at the beginning of the second verse, I feel seen lmao

 

Man, I slept on this album for way too long. I'm a huge Rocky fan and I was in NYC the night Testing came out so I was bumping that a lot. Recently got really into Daytona tho, no one can beat his aggressive delivery
