Nope not to me. I mean it would be great if the song is never released but them even thinking it was fine to do to begin with and going through with actually recording it is bad. Leaves a really bad taste in my mouth, always will.

 

I don't even think fan backlash will prevent them from releasing it, it sucks but I think the dollar signs are more important to them.

Exactly...so why should fans 'wait until Blink makes an announcement' before making comments? And what good would it do for fans to waste their time to petition the song's release?

I guess people want to QUOTE UNQUOTE hear both sides before they're forced to confront their relationship with this band. However we can compartmentalize behavior while still enjoying the music, it seems.

I got my Enema Of The State album cover shirt....they did a shitty job printing it. Looks like the shirt moved on the press when they printed the red color because she has double lips and double "182"...from a distance it looks fine and you can still read the "182", but still...a little disappointed.....yet I love it at the same time....

 

It’s great for people to make a point about this guys troubled past, and express your disappointment that Travis or Blink is worked with him.

There is making a point, and informing people, but once that’s done, let people decide for themselves how they feel.

If you are not down with this band anymore that’s ok. You do have to accept other people not feel the same way. Even if you disagree strongly.

Also, blocking users can be a great tool.

Personally I’m looking forward to Nine, but I don’t think I’ll check out their work on XxX’s album. I’ve never heard a song by him, but I did read his bio because of the talk and he sounds like he had a messed up violent life from childhood to death.

"I'll continue to support the band while not listening to this one song" is not a valiant stance on the matter so I'm not sure why people keep saying that like they deserve props for it.

 

Just being honest that’s probably what I’m going to do.

I suggested blocking for those who were having bad interactions with other users, no matter what side of the argument (or whatever this, I haven’t been paying close enough attention) you are on.

It is a Blink thread as well, and one should expect people to want to talk about the album. Valid points made about this Xxx guys life, and some people’s dissatisfaction with the band, but antagonizing of other board members is also disappointing to see.

The “UNBLOCK ME YOU COWARD”, that user aliens exist posted when I never even implied I was personally blocking anyone makes me wonder about the sincerity of your personal agenda.

I might as well just block now though as a result so there is no banter back and forth. Although I am sure many have the best of intentions, the method maybe just doesn’t work on a message board.

 

This take and the "If they prevent the song from coming out doesn't that make it better" take are currently neck-and-neck in this thread's Mental Gymnastics Championship.
