I always thought it looked terrible/not for me

 

I've only seen the original haha, i'll have to check this out. I love adam scott and that scene looks hilarious haha

 

Piranha 3D is excellent. So much fun.

 

Paul Scheer, too. It's a blast.

 

The Richard Dreyfuss cameo is great.

I got to watch him do a public speaking where he talked about the movie industry and his career. At the end he said he was willing to take questions about any of his movies. He stated that he was proud of his body of work and felt he had been smart with his decisions, outside of Piranha 3D which was "obviously just a nice paycheck."

That whole crew is awesome. And I just saw that Amy Madigan is in it too. I’m so ready to be hurt.

Ready or Not was pretty fun, but nothing special. Weaving was fantastic, but no one else really stood out.

It was really missing a true villain. The family was just kind of meh and the butler sucked.

I would've rather just spent my time watching You're Next.

 

Incident in a Ghostland was pretty solid. I enjoyed it. Definitely didn’t pack to same punch as Martyrs, but I guess it’s a little unfair to try to compare the two.

So my thought/question to those that have seen it: is the entire film made up? Beth obviously establishes herself as an unreliable narrator. At first it seems like she’s doing it to escape the reality she’s in. But the one very subtle thing that caught my attention was after they establish all that and she is back in “reality” with the rapists, the camera pans to a Pinocchio doll with its nose extended like he was lying. And the final scene with the paramedic, where she reestablishes that she likes to tell stories. Makes me wonder if any of it really happened.

It’s hard for me to truly buy into that, she’s cleary beaten to a pulp in the back of the ambulance. I feel like if they were trying to make the spin that none of it actually happened, that the final scene could have been something more ambiguous.
