You pretty much saying, "you're wrong, this doesn't exist because I don't see it that way, you're too offended get over it" is the exact opposite of "respecting" my opinion.

So do we think that once the actual tour starts, rabbit hole, and whatever new songs they are going to play will just appear, or do we think that they will slowly work them in as the tour progresses?

Whatever they are going to add will be there on the first day cause the pretty much never change mid-tour.

 

Honestly I would probably buy tickets for the tour if I didn't think it was just going to be greatest hits.

 

I think they'll be switching things up in a few weeks

 

That was what kept me from buying anything more than the lawn tickets, honestly. I'm not one to moan about the set list being greatest hits, but I've seen it before (so no need to spend $100+). I just want to BE there to see them with Skiba really, so cheap seats will do. If they play some more new stuff, even better!

 

Saw them on their first tour and he made a lot of jokes. Don't know if I just had a way different experience, but he didn't take himself too seriously, just seemed to have pride in what he was doing.

 

At the risk of starting an argument, from what I have seen from video clips, Matt and Mark don't sound very good live these days. I haven't liked what I have heard of Matt singing Tom's parts.

I don't think you really do understand what sexism is if you think it's just an opinion ... the band writes sexist music. Many, many, many women have said this. The debate over what that means that you enjoy it may dabble in opinion, but the fact of its inherent sexism is not.

I saw them first weekend of June, so I didn't think it'd be worth it to buy tickets for a late July show if it's gonna be the same setlist, i kinda regret not getting any now just cause the show was too much fun, new setlist or old.. But yeah, they should just add new songs with a longer setlist instead of trading out old songs for new

 

Not that it excuses any poor musicianship, but Tom sounded like hell the last time I saw them, but it was somehow less noticeable live, so I assume I'll have an equal amount of fun at this tour. haha.

 

Humor can be and often is offensive. It being a "joke" doesn't change that or who it hurts if it's done in the wrong way. Humor used by certain people in the right settings is a very effective mechanism. It used badly by idiots is not the same as a professional using satire to point out life's absurdities or punching up at the system itself. There's very clear differences between how and when "jokes" are used. Maybe you wanna say that you're not a homophobe for making gay jokes, but if you say one around me I'm absolutely going to treat you like one because your homophobic behavior is what you're showcasing to the world. You can naively hold the view you're not that person, but the rest of us will look at your actions and see it very differently.

Every idiot with a keyboard thinks they're a comedian, really most of the time they're just unfunny assholes with a keyboard.

 

Honestly I never saw them live after the tour for Untitled, I remember Tom sounding good then. But yeah, I have seen videos where Tom sounds really rough.
