Nah, Jerry would rather him sit three consecutive seasons while giving him 60m than trading him

    Lets Go. Prestigious

nobody is trading significant assets for a running back and then paying them huge money

    I was.

Dude has ridiculous range for a LB. He could easily be their MIKE for the next 10 years and be one of the better ones in the league.

I wonder if the steelers will try to trade Rogers or Switzer for a backup tight end.

    I love TO.

Every day though I’m lucky that the lions had such an incredible no issue receiver in Calvin

Every day I cry that we wasted him

Not surprised at the Smith extension. Pretty smart tbh. He and LVE make a great LB duo. I really don’t see them extending Zeke now though, especially with Dak, Cooper, and Byron Jones on the horizon.

This would be a huge bummer.

And about the trade question. I think they might make a move for a backup TE. But I doubt Switzer is on the table. We also have really solid Oline depth that might fetch something.

Absolute steal if he continues playing how he was last year. Current year plus this extension comes out to be around $11 million a year for 6 years.

“Hometown discounts” almost never happen but this feels like it is for Jaylon, especially for everything he’s been through and feeling like he owed the Cowboys something for taking the risk for him.

    Love this dude.

  15. You pay the people that show up. Steelers do the same thing. Paid AB instead of Mike wallace back in the day.

Rogers and Switzer both aren't making the roster.

For sure, but Rogers has no trade value....and with Switzer being a better return guy too, it seems pretty clear we're gonna release Rogers eventually. I wouldnt trade Switzer for a backup TE in any world...and I'd just wait for roster cut-downs to pick someone up.

It sucks, Switzer is such a favorite but the coaches definitely seem to like Rogers more. The problem with Rogers is he always seems to be injured. If they could add depth at tight end of corner or edge, they should definitely try to swing that. They probably will just end up waiving one and seeing what's around waivers, though.

I've been reading steelers depot a lot, the staff definitely seems to like Rogers more. I wouldn't think so but that's what I've been reading for a few weeks.

True. But Switzer has the special teams skills. I’m not sure Rogers would fetch much. But maybe.
