thanks. i want my wife to try RE7 but she cant even play the nonVR one. how do you walk/move in that game?

no mans sky in vr is super impressive. needs more work but it’s a great start

 

The move controllers are tight and, arguably, it's not the best VR game in sense of mobility.

I've not got back into NMS since I thought it Day One, and we all know how that meant. It does look like the update has added a shit ton but I'm gonna be sorted for games for so long.

i started playing some months ago, before the latest update. they improved a lot of things. still some bugs since it’s a new release but idk i love it a lot.

To be fair, I haven't played it in a few months. If they've patched it up then good, I might go back to it! :)

 

might be better to just start a new game too. they added the new mechanics as tutorial quests.

i can’t stop thinking about VR. i’m using moves, and it currently doesn’t have ps4 pro support(yet, non VR mode the game looks better in pro) so it does look ugly and blurry at times, but it’s just so immersive. it’s so fun actually piloting the ship, opening inventory by selecting options from my wrist, getting weapons from behind, flicking the visor on/off by tapping a button on the left side of my head. it’s just so well done. it feels like you’re starlord, or malcom reynolds or an x-wing pilot. can’t wait to play again tomorrow, im a huge sci fi guy so this definitely is hitting a spot

 

Rumours are that Modern Warfare will be dropping a 2v2 gunfight mode test on PS4 this week

Guess that'd make it an alpha then! Apparently a leaker tweeted out something and everyone's hinting it's to do with the Modern Warfare gamescom announcement later on today for gunfight test

I might do that but with Nier, Days Gone, Shadow of the Colossus and Monster Hunter World I might end up just missing it since we also have Death Stranding and a whole bunch of games coming up. I don't actually have VR myself, I used one of my friends and it was fun, that's all I can really say to describe it. I'd like to see a lot more immersion in this.

 

This is incredibly exciting but comes when I won’t have access to my PS4 for a week. Sigh. It’s supposedly from 22nd to 26th. Urghhhhh.

About a week and a half ago I wanted to take a small break from FE and I was like meh, its been a while since I played Issac. So i popped it on and there was a voice in the back of my head that was like, "dude you're gonna get hooked on this again, like you always do" and I completely SCOFFED at the thought. Yet here I am, a week and a half later and about 30 more hours on issac.

Gf keeps making me play Yakuza Kiwami so she can watch and goodness gracious me it’s astounding the way you all go on about Red Dead yet claim Yakuza is good yikessssssss...

How anybody doesn’t get bored of the relentless cutscenes and dialogue alongside the tedious gameplay is beyond me. And the combat is pants. Damn. Glad it was free on PS+

 

I’ll take every single Yakuza game over RDR2
