  1. That’d be impossible to separate. You’d have to break-up hardware and services.

never heard of Nomad before but that is terrible. We know objectively what they did worked and like most things apple does, UX was great, this is just one instance where I don't think the UI matches up. For me it looks minimal but somehow bulky, it just doesn't align.

I love this damn thing. I would gladly get rid of my touch screen phone and use something that looked like this, if it wasn't for the camera feature. If my phone didn't take good pics I would have to carry a camera around with me everywhere I went.

I could never go back to the scroll wheel (or whatever they called it) after using a touch screen, just the time it saves alone.

I definitely remember these and remember using them, but really for me, by the time I was getting big into listening to music I remember having a round Aiwa cd player for sitting still and a silver Sony Discman with anti-skip shock protection for mowing the lawn and going for runs.

I’ve had a 160 GB iPod classic for years because it’s the only iPod with that much storage space. At the end of June it disappeared somewhere with my car keys and I’ve never been able to find it despite searching everywhere. I’m still sad about it.

I had a mini-disc player as a teen because my parent's could never buy the "cool" item they always went with the cheaper, non cool gift. From music players to video game consoles, it was consistent.

I cannot for the life of me remember what it was called but my first MP3 player was something I got from Target that was like $50 at most in 2003 or 2004 and I remember the interface for it on the computer was something only a coding expert could understand. Got my first iPod (Nano, 2nd gen I think) when I was 16 and it changed my life
