guys I tried going back to work today and they sent me home immediately lol

 

Oh my god I haven’t thought about Bizarro in at least a decade.

 

I’m finally at urgent care my mom made me go from a thousand miles away lol

 

feel better Jake, I get the feeling I'm always like I'm fine I don't want to go to a doctor unless it's an emergency

 

Just as my gf told me four days ago when she begged me to go to urgent care, it’s bronchitis

 

men in relationships live longer because their partners make them go to the doctor lol

Bronchitis sucks. Had if a couple years ago and it knocked me out of work almost three weeks.

 

Lol me and my wife are the opposite. Our baby ended up coming 9.5 weeks early in part due to her refusal to call the doctor/hospital when she “felt weird” even though I kept insisting and it ended up being pre-labor and by the time we knew it was labor it was too late to delay it at all haha

Now I know for baby #2 if we do it that I’ll just be calling myself lol

 

But I am also very much the stereotypical man who will be absolutely demolished and useless when I get even just a cold and I have anxiety about health so yeah I don’t hesitate to seek out doctors

 

I have never taken a sick day and just act like everything is normal when I have bronchitis or whatever, I get anxious about missing work, I'm not a scab just a moron

 

I mean I really needed to work today because I missed two days and when you get paid only tips you don’t live paycheck to paycheck you live shift to shift lol. missed out on anywhere from 300-500 dollars with all the work I’ve missed

 

(Knock on wood) I don’t really ever get sick, so I just take days off for mental health here and there.

 

Yeah that’s definitely the shittiest part about working in the service industry.

A good public policy idea might be to force restaurants to provide like at least 7 days of paid sick leave where the pay is the average amount in tips per day per year or something like that, because restaurant workers literally can’t miss shifts

 

People who have mustaches like that are always annoying, no exceptions

 

Haha, my cousins fiancé actually has one but he’s really cool and not a fascist.
