Its really been MHW and Nier so I'll probably play the 2 on and off until one really gets me in

 

Well MHW is like a 100+ hour behemoth so once you start that bye bye everything else haha

 

Both are great but play Nier first as MHW is huge.

Could never get into SotC

 

SotC is quite nice actually but I feel like just play it when you’re in the mood for something somber and slow. Don’t force yourself because it’s on an imaginary list.

 

is it Ori? I’d lose my mind if it’s Ori.

 

Shadow of the Colossus was one of my favourite PS2 games, I got out the ol' PS2 before and fired through it again but I've always wanted to the play the PS4 version then move onto the Last Guardian. Team Ico know how to make gorgeous games.

 

I’d replay ori on switch who am I kidding

 

This music in Nier is hauntingly beautiful

I do like a great immersive soundtrack, especially with my RPG games. Seems like Nier is gonna be right up my alley, for now anyway. Gonna play SotC here and there when I just want a colossal fight.

 

I've tried three times to get into Nier, but it never hooks me.

 

I love how it cycles through all these different genres, from bullet hell to these DMC'esque sections, that plus a story worth caring about and the 2nd best soundtrack in gaming

 

I watched this trailer 10000 times only for the music back then. when i finally got the OST, it was pretty much all i listened to for two years or so.
(also, I want a remake a la RE2 for this game.)

Splatoon 1 and 2 are the best and second best soundtracks in gaming, in no order

 

I've played up to the part in Nier were that Android ends up giving birth to its twin and it's pretty damn intense.

 

is this an ok time to buy a ps vr? i already have a pro just worried that a new version might come out soon

I think you’ll be good for a while.

Can’t imagine there will be a new PS VR until a year or so into the PS5s life (they certainly wouldn’t launch a new VR this gen and I don’t think they’ll launch one next fall with PS5) So you should be good until fall 2021 easily.

btw @Dirty Sanchez any games to recommend? currently i have no man’s sky and the ps+ vr games.

 

RE7 is damn good. Can only imagine what that’s like in VR haha.

 

Resident Evil 7 is an incredible experience on PS VR, it's so creepy and is a completely different game that forces you to be more intuitive yet keeps the nostalgic RE feel.

Skyrim is a fantastic experience but may be the obvious choice. Can't beat being the Dovaahkin though, it's one of my favourites. It can be a little awkward but is really outstanding to play.

A Fishermans Tale is a stylish puzzle game that has a great way of having you think to complete these in VR, it's about being a puppet fisherman living in a lighthouse and having truly defines the scope of what VR can do.

Those are the 3 that I always recommend in VR. I would recommend getting one since it has other practical uses and I do not see them releasing another one for the PS4.
