Also to chime in on the great debate, I had never stopped to think how sexist the lyrics to dump weed are lol. I still like the song, but I will admit looking at it now the lyrics are kind of "woah what.."

  3. ok, so if i could re-arrange the tracklist a bit, i think this is what i'd do:

    0. Brohemian Rhapsody (pre-gap track)
    1. Cynical
    2. Bored To Death
    3. She's Out Of Her Mind
    4. No Future
    5. Rabbit Hole
    6. San Diego
    7. Hey, I'm Sorry
    8. The Only Thing That Matters
    9. Left Alone
    10. Kings Of The Weekend
    11. Sober
    12. Home Is Such A Lonely Place / Built This Pool (Hidden Track)

I think it's a bit of a stretch that to insenuate that Dumpweed is a sexist song. Or gross for that matter. Sorry, that's just not something I'm even close to believing.

  5. even just the line "i need a girl that i can train" is enough for anyone with common sense to be offended by.

The great thing about facts is, you don't have to acknowledge them as such for it to be true!

My cassette shipped this morning, I'm so happy even though I'm probably not even going to do so much as open it unless the next to unattainable opportunity arises to have them sign it.

I wish the silent gaps between songs on this record were shorter. It seems like there's 2.5 seconds of silence that prevent some songs from flowing into the next seamlessly. Anybody else feel this way?

Okay, great. I don't care. I'm listening to the song either way.

Must be nice not to give a shit about sexism when you don't have to, huh?

Now I'm sexist because I listen to a song and enjoy it? Keep talking, you're real smart.

No one's saying that you can't listen to the song, or even enjoy it for that matter. You should just be aware and acknowledge that the song has some terrible lines, along with some other songs from Enema as well

So jealous of those fans who got to hear Wendy Clear live.

Listening to this now. They're getting tighter live now. And the banter is coming back, slowly.

You said "I don't care" about a sexist song. I then said you don't give a shit about sexism. Elementary logic here.

I don't give a shit about sexism now because I don't share the same view as you of lyrics written by the author of a song? Have a good day, man.

I agree. The sudden end to Kings of the Weekend makes for a weird transition to Teenage Satellites.

It's not a matter of opinion. The lyrics are sexist whether or not you acknowledge that fact.

I actually would only change Brohemian Rhapsody and put it before California and have that track close out the album.

They didnt play much off that album even when they were touring for it lol. I saw them on the Neighborhoods tour and they only played Up All Night, After Midnight, Ghosts and Hearts All Gone. I then saw them twice after they released Dogs Eating Dogs and they played even less off Neighborhoods.....maybe just Up All Night and After Midnight.

Agreed. My biggest gripe with the tracklisting is having Brohemian close it out. California is such a great closer and BR ruins that.

I agree too. I think the Enema album was the best at going right into the next song without any gaps between the songs, especially Going Away to College into What's My Age Again and Adam's Song into All The Small Things. Easy Target into All of This is another example of a great seemless transition into the next song.
